Trip Plan:
We are heading out for a four-month trip from Texas through Illinois to Idaho to California to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Big Sky. Then, on to Minnesota, back to Illinois, and finally home to Texas.
Day 1: Sunday, June 13th
Waving goodbye to our neighbor, Fran, we left San Antonio about 9:30 a.m. and headed to Dallas to have a late lunch with our good friends, David and Elizabeth. They were kind enough to meet us at our favorite RV stomping grounds: a Walmart parking lot. They sent us off with a bottle of Writer’s Block wine—just the thing for me! I believe it’s designed to take the pain out of having writer’s block. We tried it out and it did the trick! Since we were in our usual can’t-remember-to-take-pictures mode, we don’t have a picture with David and Elizabeth. grrrr!
