The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone appear to butt up against each other. So, we left one and went right into the other. In fact as we thought we were about to leave the Grand Tetons, we paid to be in the Grand Tetons National Park for the first time. The fee was good for both parks, so we never really knew for sure when we left one park and entered the other. The drive was gorgeous—especially the beautiful streams and rivers. We drove by a lot of forests ravaged by fires and starting to rebuild, but even those forests were interesting and amazing.
