We left Boise on Monday, 28th and drove through many gorgeous mountains to reach Reno, NV where we spent the night in a Walmart parking lot. When we arrived, it was so hot that we figured we’d have to run our generator in order to have air conditioning so that we could sleep. But, after the sun went down, the temperature dropped dramatically, and sleeping was great without the generator! Those desert climates are interesting! The scenery as we entered California (on Tuesday, the 29th) was amazing, but we were in another one of our can’t-remember-to-take–pictures modes, so we have no pictures of that gorgeous area. We did take a few windmill shots. We always find windmill farms attractive, but these windmills were different than we were used to. They were smaller and much closer together.
