We saw pretty terrain, buffalo, and evidence of past forest fires on the way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. At the Grand Canyon, we enjoyed a few lookout points; took a short, steep hike out to Bright Angel Point; took some gorgeous pictures; checked out the restaurant and gift shop, and had a picnic.. The Grand Canyon filled me with awe the last time I visited, and did so again this time. As I looked out over it, I felt like I was breathing in the history of the world. It is just so amazing to read how long ago each layer was built and what the area was like at the time of each layer.
