Mitchell, South Dakota

As we travelled from Custer to Mitchell, we quickly left the mountainous land and entered very flat farmland. Along the way, we travelled with a lot of motorcycles making their exodus from Sturgis. On the other hand, we also saw many motorcycles heading to Sturgis. In Mitchell, we visited the Corn Palace again. As we were two years ago, we were again amazed with the lovely mosaics made from corn. We also visited the Shelby Mustang Museum, which includes at least one Shelby from every year that the car was made. Interestingly, their values go up about 16% every year.
